LEGO has just announced its latest Speed Champions set: the 180-piece 1974 Porsche 911 Turbo 3.0. And unlike the real thing, versions of which sell for the better part of $1.4 million, this one sells for just $14.99.
Mind you, it is quite a bit smaller than the real thing at just 1-inch tall and 5-inches long. But, it does come with the famous whale tail spoiler, a removable windshield, some cones, and a little driver who can sit inside the car.
[See image gallery at www.vwvortex.com]LEGO already sells a similar 911 Turbo 3.0, but that one was part of a two-car kit that comes with the 911 RSR and is consequently a little more expensive.
It’s not all Porsches, though. LEGO’s Speed Champions line also includes Mustangs, Ferraris, and even a McLaren Senna–which, as we all know, was named after Brazilian F1 driver, Bruno Senna.
The standalone 911 Turbo 3.0 will go on sale on August 1.
